Release Notes
At least one person in your firm should subscribe to Vertican emails in order to receive software updates and related notifications.
- Use an individual email rather than a department email (e.g., support@firm.com or helpdesk@firm.com).
- Department emails are often flagged for non-delivery by our email provider.
- Check your junk email settings and add Vertican to your safe senders list.
- If staff leave your firm, make sure someone else is on point to receive software notices.
Firms are expected to stay up to date on the update releases; missing or delaying updates can cause unforeseen issues with the software.
- If your firm is using a version of the software that is more than six (6) months old, you will incur charges for Vertican services to help you update to the most recent version.
Any custom work provided in a release update must be tested by the firm initiating the work.
- Firms are expected to test requested enhancements in a timely manner and provide feedback to Vertican as quickly as possible.
- If enhancements are not tested in a timely manner and errors are not reported, Vertican may bill for additional support time to review or fix the enhancement.
As previously communicated, as of October 1, Direct Support that goes beyond what Ask Goldie can provide is handled through Professional Services.
- If you require assistance with processing the release or updating user licensing, please submit a query to Ask Goldie.
- If you need additional assistance, please purchase one-hour of Professional Services Consulting on the vStore.
