Q-LawE Release Notes
Firms are expected to stay up to date on the update releases; missing or delaying updates can cause unforeseen issues with the software.
- If your firm is using a version of the software that is more than six (6) months old, you will incur charges for Vertican support to help you update to the most recent version.
- Charges will come in the form of using your monthly incident allowance.
- If you do not have incidents in your balance, your firm will need to purchase an additional incident on the vPortal.

Any custom work provided in a release update must be tested by the firm initiating the work.
- Firms are expected to test requested enhancements in a timely manner and provide feedback to Vertican as quickly as possible.
- If enhancements are not tested in a timely manner and errors are not reported, Vertican may bill for additional support time to review or fix the enhancement.
