YGC Access to vX Native Data
When you use vExchange Analytics, you have access to the additional data points captured by the vExchange Native Standard. For example, the YGC Data Standard has no field for email addresses. Using the Analytics Saved Searches feature, you can grab email addresses captured by vExchange. So there’s a benefit to being part of the vExchange ecosystem, regardless of your adapter.

YGC Business Adapter
Why Choose the YGC Business Adapter
The YGC adapter is an option if you already use YGC and you don’t have the programming resources or time to convert to vExchange Native.
The YGC adapter licenses you to use the YGC Data Standard within vExchange.
YGC Limitations & Requirements
- The YGC Data Standard is unable to take full advantage of vExchange Analytics compared to vExchange Native, because YGC supports fewer fields and records.
- You can only communicate with clients for additional data points by using Notes. There is no field for email in the demographic record.
- YGC is a fixed length data standard, which is more restrictive than vExchange Native pipe delimited files.
- YGC is no longer enhanced.
Benefits of using YGC with vExchange
While the YGC Data Standard is more limited than the vExchange Native Standard, Receivers and Senders using the YGC Adapter still benefit from using vExchange because it’s built on the vExchange Native Standard. Here’s an example.
