vExchange is an industry-leading data exchange platform that validates, processes, and delivers client data 24/7 every day. vExchange ensures that information flows securely between Senders and Receivers according to established business rules and adapter configurations, centralizing data for streamlined processing and seamlessly integrating multiple Systems of Record (SOR).

vExchange Analytics is a web portal that transforms raw data into actionable, operational insights for Senders and Receivers.

vExchange’s advanced reporting is built on all claims data, enabling clients to make intelligent business decisions to streamline operations.

A Superior Standard

vExchange Native is a comprehensive proprietary data standard with 5,000+ unique fields and 130+ record types. It also has the infrastructure, security, and scalability for a complex world. vExchange Native offers the following benefits over the YGC Data Standard.

  • Pipe delimited allows for greater flexibility than fixed length YGC

vExchange Native Adapter

The vExchange Native Business Adapter allows Senders and Receivers with a non-Vertican system of record (SOR) to take full advantage of the vExchange Native Standard.

While the YGC Business Adapter can be used with a non-Vertican SOR, YGC limitations make it advisable to switch to the vExchange Native Adapter. The limitations of the YGC Business Adapter include:

• The YGC Data Standard supports fewer fields and records.
• Can only communicate additional data points by using Notes. There is no field for email in the demographic record.
• YGC is a fixed length data standard, which is more restrictive than vExchange Native pipe delimited files.
• YGC is no longer enhanced.

YGC Business Adapter

The YGC Business Adapter is built on the YGC Data Standard. While the YGC Data Standard is more limited than the vExchange Native Standard, Receivers and Senders using the YGC Adapter still benefit from using vExchange because it’s built on the vExchange Native Standard.

When you use vExchange Analytics, you have access to the additional data points captured by the vExchange Native Standard. For example, the YGC Data Standard has no field for email addresses. Using the Analytics Saved Searches feature, you can grab email addresses captured by vExchange. So there’s a benefit to being part of the vExchange ecosystem, regardless of your adapter.

Technology Stack

vExchange and vExchange Analytics use the Microsoft Azure platform and Azure cloud security, which includes embedded controls, multilayered protection, and intelligent threat detection.

File Encryption

vExchange is able to handle file encryption for additional security; however, very few firms utilize this functionality.
